The Dance Studio’s popular & unique Summer Action Dance Camp program accommodates all interest and skill levels with a variety of camp dates and age groups.  Activities include: Jazz Dance, Ballet, Lyrical, Children’s Creative Dance, Musical Theater, Modeling and Fashion show, Arts & Crafts, Team Games & Lunch with Miss Manners. 

Each camp will end with an In-Studio “ Theater Production” (The Little Show).  The Dance Studio’s talented staff knows how to put the “Cool” in our Sizzling Summers.  So Join Us for Style, Freedom and Fun.

 

Summer Action Dance Camp I       Age 6 to 8
June 14 thru June 18
Our dance objective for Camp I is to increase physical and rhythmic awareness, to perform simple choreography, to maintain interest, and to provide performance experience. We use your favorite music to create high-energy classes.
 The hours for Camp I will be:  Monday thru Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm
Cost for this Camp is $150.00

 

Summer Action Dance Camp II      Age 3 to 5 
June 21 thru June 25
Camp II will introduce children to movement,  music and rhythm, as well as body discipline and awareness.   Emphasis is placed on fun and the development of positive self-esteem as the child enters one of his or her earliest classroom situations.  The Summer Action Dance Camps have been designed to provide a quality program beneficial for the development of the fine and gross motor skills of young children.
The hours for Camp II will be:  Monday thru Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm
Cost for this Camp is $150.00

  

Summer Dance Camp Intensive III    Age 9 to 12
July 12 thru July 16 (Dance Camp Intensive)
Dancers must be a level III Dancer or above to attend Camp III.
Camp III is a special Intensive Dance Camp designed for the Jazz III or above level dancers age 9 - 12 who need to make their required 10 hours of summer dance to keep their present status or move up to the next level. 
The hours for Camp III will be:  Monday 10:00am - 1:00pm,
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10:00am - 2:00pm,
Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm
The Cost for the Dance Camp Intensive is $170.00

 

Summer Dance Camp Intensive  IV    Age 7 to 10
July 19 thru July 23 (Dance Camp Intensive)
Dancers must be a level II Dancer or Above to Attend this Camp
Camp IV is a special Intensive Dance Camp designed for the Jazz II or above level dancers age 7 - 10 who need to make their required 10 hours of summer dance to keep their present status or move up to the next level.
The hours for Camp IV will be: Monday 10:00am - 1:00pm,
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10:00am - 2:00pm,
Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm
The Cost For the Dance Camp Intensive is $170.00
                       

Camp V     Age 9 to 12
July 26 thru July 30
Camp V is a fusion of Jazz Dance, Lyrical, and Phunk styles.  The class is designed for the beginner to intermediate dancer with emphasis on fun and movement.
The hours for Camp V will be:  Monday thru Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm
Cost for this Camp is $150.00

 

 Camp VI    Age 5 to 8
August 2 thru August 6
Our dance objective for Camp VI is to increase physical and rhythmic awareness, to perform simple choreography, to maintain interest, and to provide performance experience. We use your favorite music to create high-energy classes.
The hours for Camp VI will be:  Monday thru Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm
Cost for this Camp is $150.00

                         
Summer Action Dance Camp Information


Cost: $150.00 per child per camp.   
           $170.00 for Dance Camp Intensives # 3, 4  

Registration:  Campers must be pre-registered (with full payment)
two weeks in advance of each camp attending. There will be a $45.00 fee for
cancellation not made two weeks prior to the first day of camp.
Location: The Dance Studio at 5925 Patton Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78414 (361-851-9694)
Lunch: Each child is to bring a sack lunch and a drink each day.
Attire: Dancewear and (dance shoes, if you have them). Ask for Studio Dress Code.
Show: A Little Show will be presented for family and friends on
Friday at 12:30 p.m. of each respective camp week.
